Quality Assurance
Information on how we perform as a service is important as it provides feedback from the system to help senior managers identify where there are pressures on resources or where standards of practice are falling short of expected or required
Performance and management information is taken from reports run from MOSAIC so it is important that social workers ensure case recording is kept up to date.
Staff can access information on performance activity for specific service areas via the Power BI dashboards. Guidance on how to use the dashboards for each service area are available below:

Key performance indicators definitions
The Department of Education expects all local authorities to collect certain performance information as set out in the National Indicators; these are submitted to the Department on annual basis.
Camden also collects data at a local level to ensure a high standard of social work practice. The CSFH monthly performance overview report is presented as an Excel spreadsheet that is distributed to managers on a monthly basis.
An annual report on performance and management information and levels of service activity is submitted to the senior management team to enable managers to identify any emerging trends. This helps to plan for future service delivery.
Where performance and management information indicates that there are issues with service standards or delivery, the senior management team will implement an action plan to address these.
