The DWP want to move most working age people to UC by the end of 2024. Most people who get housing benefit will get a migration notice by August 2024.

This process is sometimes called 'managed migration'.

Residents who receive ESA income- base and ESA with housing benefit the time table has been changed and will now receive a migration letter from September 2024, the aim to notify all those affected to be moved to UC by December 2025.
