Mental Health

From 1 November 2024, Mental Health services in Camden are provided in collaboration with North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) and  Camden Council, as part of a Section 75 agreement. The NLFT is formed of two previously separate mental health trusts working in partnership that have merged (Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust and Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.

There are various integrated Health and Social Care services that provide specialist input to support Camden residents with mental ill health.

For further information, please see the C&I website and Mental Health Service structure charts.  Note that C&I Mental Health Service is currently being restructured and an updated structure chart will be available in 2025.

Mental Health support in Camden is provided through Camden and Islington (also referred to as C&I or Candi) NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Camden Council.

This partnership is known as a s75 (or section 75) agreement under the National Health Service Act 2006. This provides a contractual framework for the use of shared funds and resources between the local authority and NHS body.
