This section contains information about food for families during COVID including a food flow chart, foodbanks, emergency food parcel deliveries, supermarket vouchers and more. 

Please read the food flow chart tab FIRST.  This will show you the steps to take to decide what to do to secure food for your family.

Families for Life Healthy Living

Camden's Health and Wellbeing Team run regular sessions for families with children aged 0-11 covering a wide range of healthy living and healthy eating topics, including:

Starting Solid Food Sessions (online)

Brandon Centre Families, Food and Feelings

A really interesting approach to healthy eating, this is a remotely-run 6-week programme for parents or carers of children, who struggle with healthy eating habits and being active which can lead to excess weight and impact their emotional wellbeing.

KTCC Cooks - Free Meal Kits

Kentish Town Community Centre have started a Meal Kits project – includes ingredients and a recipe card to make a meal for 2 or 4. All free. Details below

121 Support for Cooking at Home  

Family Kitchen team can offer 121 support to families on preparing food at home by phone or email [email protected] or ringing 020 7974 6736 – they are very happy to ring families direct if that would help and to save phone costs 

 

Purchasing Kitchen Equipment or Utensils 

We can purchase small kitchen items or equipment to help families prepare meals at home. Please ask your line manager if a family would find this helpful
