This section provides an overview of the multi-disciplinary teams within Mental Health.

Mental Health

From 1 November 2024, Mental Health services in Camden are provided in collaboration with North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) and  Camden Council, as part of a Section 75 agreement. The NLFT is formed of two previously separate mental health trusts working in partnership that have merged (Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust and Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.

There are various integrated Health and Social Care services that provide specialist input to support Camden residents with mental ill health.

For further information, please see the C&I website and Mental Health Service structure charts.  Note that C&I Mental Health Service is currently being restructured and an updated structure chart will be available in 2025.

You can also find guidelines on good practice for language and images about dementia here.

The FOCUS Team offers assertive outreach services to street homeless people and homeless people in hostels. The team will advocate on people’s behalf and support with various social and practical issues.

The team also offers advice and support to street outreach staff and hostel staff on working with people who have mental ill health and to help formulate treatment and crisis plans when needed.

FOCUS is based at Greenland Road near Camden Town Station.
