BOWEL CANCER SCREENING
Public Health England have published new information and resources to support people with learning disabilities to better understand bowel cancer screening.
You can read an easy read guide to having a colonoscopy, easy read guide to having a CT colonography scan and guidance to support people with learning disabilities.

CLDS provide an online resource library to support people with a learning disability to live independently. The online library includes a Health section, with information about looking after your body, eating well and screening to stay well.
Easy READ CONSENT FORM
The consent form for photography, video and audio is now available in easy read.
HOSPITAL PASSPORTS
We encourage people with learning disabilities to fill in a hospital passport to help make sure they get the right support when in hospital. They can fill this in electronically with the help of a support worker or family member and then share it via email with the Learning Disability Liaison Nurse at whichever hospital they are attending.
