Supporting you in your role
Reflective supervision provides a space for practitioners to:
- reflect and consider the emotional impact of their work
- explore their own attitudes, values, and the assumptions and biases they bring and how these may impact on their work and decision-making
- consider the ethical dilemmas inherent in practice and develop self-awareness and critical thinking
Reflective practice should be integrated into one-to-one supervision. There are also opportunities for group supervision.
Details of reflective sessions for ASC staff are advertised on the Learning and Development hub There are also other opportunities for reflective spaces - including within teams.
