Information for new starters to Camden

Induction

Lone Working: Social Care Practitioners are required to undertake lone working and Camden Council has a duty of care to keep their Practitioners safe.  The Adult Social Care Lone Working and Personal Safety Guidance sets out how Managers will ensure Practitioners are supported to keep them safe while delivering support to adults.

What Matters and Mosaic training guidance for new starters

‘Introduction to What Matters: A Guide to Accompany Mosaic Training.’

This guidance is to support new starters (practitioners specifically) who are attending the Mosaic training without having been on the What Matters Induction Part 1 or the 3 Conversations session.

This guidance provides an overview of What Matters and helps facilitate a better understanding when attending their Mosaic training.

It is important that practitioners are still scheduled in to attend the What Matters Induction Part 1 training regardless of if they use this guidance to facilitate their Mosaic training.

It is a mandatory requirement to attend both Induction sessions in full.
