Information for new starters to Camden

Induction

Lone Working: Social Care Practitioners are required to undertake lone working and Camden Council has a duty of care to keep their Practitioners safe.  The Adult Social Care Lone Working and Personal Safegy Guidance sets out how Managers will ensure Practitioners are supported to keep them safe while delivering support to adults.

We want to support our staff to realise their strengths and to build experience and personal commitment to practice excellence. We will offer wide and varied opportunities for you to access the essential training you need for your role and for continuing professional development and career advancement. Your learning will be part of your wider personal, practice and performance planning, which should be discussed in your regular supervision conversations with your line manager.
