Welcome to Adult Social Care at Camden. We hope that you will have a great experience in the work that you do in supporting the residents to live their best lives. We have a new induction booklet that has been designed for everyone working in Adult Social Care and it provides you with key information and resources that you need to know in your first week, throughout your probation and it will also support you in being successful in your role at Camden.

We are currently working to ensure our workforce is representative at all levels of the diverse communities we support and to ensure that we have the skills, knowledge and capabilities to provide high quality support to those who draw on our services.

The development of this strategy has been informed by engagement with many stakeholders and partners including our internal workforce. The strategy has identified five key pillars: tackling inequalities and supporting staff with protected characteristics, learning development and progression, recruitment, staff wellbeing and recognition and working with our commissioned providers.
