Formal and informal remedies for dealing with nuisance and ASB

A list of informal remedies and powers available to help manage nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

The formal and informal remedies listed here are not exclusive and can be used to deal with a wide range of types and scale of nuisance and ASB.

Used by the police only this gives the police power to ask a person to leave a specific location (in a public place) for up to 48 hours and provide immediate short term respite to a local community.
The person has to be committing or likely to commit anti-social behaviour, crime or disorder.
In the context of noise this might be used where there is alcohol/drug related ASB such as illegal raves etc.
