Two policies are designed to offer victims an opportunity to initiate action.

Community trigger

This enables people, someone acting on their behalf (with their consent) or communities to request a case review if they are unhappy with a response to a complaint of nuisance.

If the number of complaints reach an agreed threshold agencies have to work together to reach a solution.

Community remedy

This gives people who have experienced low level anti-social behaviour an option of choosing an out of court punishment.
