Pre action protocol

Where all avenues have been explored, rent arrears are increasing and court action is being considered we need to look at the pre action protocol first to make sure we have carried out all the steps needed to take a case, successfully, to court.

Vulnerability panel

Under certain circumstances you may need to refer a case to the vulnerability panel first.  This may be where:

  • A tenant is allocated to one of the specialist secondary mental health care teams.  
  • Households or families with dependent children (16 years or under) where the children are designated as children in need.  
  • Camden tenants with complex needs.
  • Care leavers who are 24 years old or younger.
