Camden Parent and Carer Counselling Service
Run by our friends in the Educational Psychology Service, the Parent and Carer Counselling Service (PCCS) is a free counselling service for parents and carers who have a child on roll at a Camden maintained school or children’s centre.
Twelve one-to-one sessions are offered, which take place weekly in school hours during term time.
Counselling sessions take place in a private room in the school, children's centre or the council office. They provide a space to talk about problems, decisions, worries or changes. Problems do not have to be related to parenting. Parents can self refer.

Adult Mental Health Services
With so many supports and services available for adult emotional health, it can feel difficult to navigate which one is best. We would always recommend parents talk with their GP first to decide which service or support is right for them. Alternatively, you can give the social prescribing care navigators service a call. They are skilled at having initial conversations and connecting people to services. You can contact them here https://www.ageuk.org.uk/camden/our-services/care-navigators/
Social Prescribing
The Social Prescribing Service works in partnership with community providers in Camden to deliver easily accessible one-to-one support to Camden residents struggling with their mental health. The main aim of the service is to support people to access community services, projects and activities to aid their mental health recovery (GP referral only for this one)

Over a maximum of 8 sessions we will help you explore the services and activities within the Hub or throughout the borough which might be best suited to support you (such as housing association, tai chi, music and dance classes, chess club, sport centre, mindfulness courses)
