Conflict or Violence in the Home

Conflict or Violence in the Home

This section contains information about support with domestic violence, harmful parental conflict, emergency accommodation and many more sources of advice and information for families experiencing violence or conflict

IMPORTANT: If you are at risk of injury or harm in your home, you can leave the house.  The government guidance is clear that you can do this and that the social distancing regulations do not apply if you need to leave the home to escape risk of injury or harm.

The DVA Navigators team are part of Camden Safety Net. They provide outreach, advocacy and support to people who identify as women, trans and non-binary who are impacted by gender-based violence and multiple disadvantages.

They offer:

  • 1 to 1 advocacy and holistic support
  • Trauma and gender informed specialist support
  • Bringing support to the service-user (assertive outreach)
  • Wrap around support

The team is there for people who:

  • Identify as a woman, trans or non-binary
  • Live in the borough of Camden at the point of referral (a meaningful connection to the borough may also be considered)
  • Have experienced any form of violence within the past 3 months
  • Aged 16 and over

To refer to the Navigators team, please get the consent of the person you are working with and complete the referral form here .
