Buttle COVID-19 Direct Emergency Response for Children and Young People
Buttle have secured National Lottery Funding for grants of up to £2,000 for children and young people who have experienced a recent crisis or significant change in life.
Items funded include (not limited to):
- Items and activities to support learning and development such as laptops, books, wi-fi, educational toys, tuition etc.
- Social and leisure activities
- Family activities
- Items for children/young people’s bedrooms
- Other household items that are not available from other sources such as Family Fund or Local Authority scheme, etc.

Vicars Relief Fund for Rent Arrears
The Vicars Relief Fund provides grants to help people who are homeless or at risk or homelessness to access accommodation or to prevent evictions, including
- accessing accommodation - a deposit, rent in advance, ID or temporary B & B accommodation
- preventing evictions - rent arrears, service charge arrears, debt relief order or bankruptcy fees

Irish Centre Grants for People Aged Under 30
The Irish Centre manage a hardship grant for under 30's on a low income and with no savings, with the support of the Irish Youth Foundation.
The grant can be used for household items, clothing, repatriation etc.

Zakat Foundation for Muslim Families
The Zakat Foundation supports members of the Muslim community who are experiencing financial difficulties. The Foundation has four different funds:
- Hardship Fund – to help with small debts
- Housing Fund – rent arrears, council tax arrears, household items
- Work Fund – to help people/families who are unemployed/on low incomes
- Education Fund – to help with training/education
