Children and young people's disability service (CYPDS)

Camden’s Children and Young People’s Disability Service (CYPDS) is the main provider of statutory social care services for children and young people aged 0-25 with complex needs arising from their disability.

CYPDS wil provide services to children and young people who have a physical or mental impairment that is substantial and long-term and which negatively affects their ability to do normal tasks.

Eligibility for a service from the CYPDS is based on a Functional Needs Assessment carried out by health practitioners that measures the level of the child's needs relating to their disability.
