Partnership working

Safeguarding children requires multi-agency cooperation and CSFH works closely with many agencies in order to deliver services to improve outcomes for children and families. These documents set out the agreed protocols for joint working with partner agencies in children’s and adults services and other council departments.

The CSCP is the principle multi-agency forum with responsibility for safeguarding children in Camden.

The main safeguarding partners are Camden council children's social care (CSFH) the Camden Borough Police and the NHS Integrated Care Board). Information about the partnership can be found at: CSCP

The CSCP provides multi-agency guidance on a range of issues and these can be found within this policy and practice hub under that specific issue. However, the following provide multi-agency guidance on the following:

The Escalation and resolving professional differences protocol sets out what actions should be taken when agencies are in disagreement on what actions should be taken to safeguard a child.

The Guidance on managing allegations against staff and volunteers provides details of actions to be taken whenever there are concerns that an individual working with children may have harmed a child in the course of their work, including foster carers.
