Some children may need a medical assessment to ascertain what harm they may have suffered. These are carried out by the Paediatric Medical Safeguarding Team based at Kentish Town Health Centre

Safeguarding medical assessments in Camden

Where a child will undergo a child protection medical, social workers should ensure that families are given a copy of the information leaflet that explains what happens at the medical.
