CLDS: who we are and how we work

This section outlines who is in CLDS, the work they do, and defines what a learning disability is.

Camden Learning Disabilities Service (CLDS) is an integrated health and social care service for adults with global learning disabilities living in or supported by the London Borough of Camden and/or registered with an NHS Camden GP.

Our team consists of different professions including:

  • Occupational Therapists
  • Social Workers
  • Psychologists
  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Nurses
  • Psychiatrists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Specialist Support Workers
  • Access and Support Officers

We can help anyone who:

  • has learning disabilities and lives in Camden and/or has a Camden GP
  • lives in a house where Camden pays for the support
  • cares for someone who has learning disabilities

The attached structure chart shows who is in which team in CLDS.

Further information can be found on the CLDS page of the Council's website.
