Conversation 2 – Working intensively with people in crisis
Supporting someone in crisis to regain stability and control over their life. Recognising that crisis means different things for different people.

Conversation 2 IS about:
- Understanding what is causing the crisis
- Working with the person and their network to put together an ‘emergency plan’
- Managing risks positively
- Sticking with the person to ensure changes are implemented and that plan works for them
- Having small amounts of money easily available to deal with crisis
- Supporting the person as to how they need to be supported
Conversation 2 is NOT about:
- Determining Care Act eligibility
- Long term support
