London Fire Brigade offer free, personalised fire safety advice through in-person visits and an online checker. 

Professionals and carers are encouraged to refer individuals at very high risk for immediate visits. This includes people over 60, living alone, smokers, mobility-impaired, lacking smoke alarms, or receiving care. London Fire Brigade have produced a video to explain home visits for carers, families and neighbours of vulnerable residents.
