This meeting included presentations from Elizabeth Smeed from Camden’s Trading Standards on fraud and scams, and from Caitriona Scanlan from Camden Safety Net on domestic abuse, with particular emphasis on the impact of the COVID situation on these areas.

- If you think you’ve been scammed, report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 and if you need advice, call the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 0808 223 1133. If you are in immediate danger, contact the police on 999.

Information on Camden’s High Risk Panel was also shared, including guidance on how to refer and the referral form. Further information is on the High Risk Panel page. This is open to workers from across Adult Social Care, CLDS and the mental health Trust. This MDT panel is made up of representatives from ASC, Housing, Environmental Health, Mental Health, Health, Police, Voluntary sector, and the London Fire Brigade.
We were also advised that there is also a high risk panel in Camden and Islington Mental Health Trust for patients known to the Trust – the contact for this is [email protected] who can advise of times and dates.
