Workforce Strategy

This section provides a comprehensive workforce strategy for Adult Social Care. This strategy, and our action plan, sets out our vision for our social care workforce across Camden. It outlines the steps we will take to ensure everyone who works at Camden in Adult Social Care is happy, feels supported and has a strong sense of belonging. We’re also doing work to make sure our workforce is sustainable, and that people are able to develop and progress.

Staff Progression

We are committed to supporting staff progression within Adult Social Care.

There are a number of ways we can help you develop and move forward in your career, and we encourage you to:

  • Use supervision sessions to explore your development goals and progression opportunities with your manager.
  • Get involved in project and working groups when opportunities arise.
  • Participate in Camden’s corporate mentoring programmes.
  • Visit the Just In Time Toolkit, where you can find resources to support your development including videos on preparing for leadership, project management, inclusion, preparing for interviews and much more.
