Information on learning and development resources in Adult Social Care

Learning and development

Nurturing and supporting our workforce is a key principle of valuing our staff. Camden is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to a comprehensive learning and development plan that will help them advance in their professional development and also equip them with skills and knowledge to carry out their role safely, effectively and to a high standard.

Further information can be found on the Learning at Camden page on Essentials

Essential learning

All Camden staff must complete Camden’s Corporate Mandatory Learning when starting at Camden and every two years during their employment regardless of your role or level.

These are e-learning modules which can be accessed via this link on the L&D Hub: Homepage: Mandatory Learning 2025

In addition to the Corporate Mandatory Learning, Adult Social Care staff have a series of required learning that will need to be completed as part of their induction programme and on-going regular updates.

Details of the training required per role or team can be found here: ASC Required training

More information about the induction process can be found here: Induction | Practice Guide

All courses can be booked via the Learning & Development Hub through which you can also view your own  / your team’s (for Managers) learning records to ensure you are up to date.

The Calendar of learning events for 2026-27 is available here (coming soon)
