Information and guidance to Mosaic

Mosaic

Mosaic is the main database for Adult Social Care and for Childrens services. It's a records and finance management system.

Change in Purchasing process now live

  • Just a reminder, practitioners are no longer required to complete any purchasing on Mosaic. All services, including direct payments and deep cleans, are now completed by the Resource Coordination Team (the purchasing team).
  • This means you are no longer able to assign purchasing actions from your workflow to a worker- only to the purchasing team.
  • Please note, the purchasing team are only responsible for setting up a direct payment once all other steps (both on Mosaic and in practice) have been completed by the practitioner. Please see the Practice Guide for further information on Direct Payments.

New What Matters workflow - Reminders

We have been using the new What Matters workflow for a couple of weeks now.

  • Please note, we continue to data cleanse- converting our existing/ old workflow to the new one.
  • Any incomplete workflow will remain available for editing for as long as you need, however your next actions from that step will be the new ones.
  • When starting a new workflow, where it is relevant and technically possible, some information will pull into the new forms.
