At the heart of providing person-centred support for people with disabilities is recognising the whole person, including needs, preferences, and wishes. How we tailor the support provided will vary according to the disability and how this affects them daily.
deafPLUS provides information, advice and guidance for D/deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind people living in Camden three days per week: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Contact [email protected] for further information.

Signs and causes of hearing loss and tinnitus and how to manage them;
Disability benefits and discounts;
Rights at work and when using public services;
Offers local support groups to those experiencing tinnitus and hearing loss

The ME Association – Offers information, support, and education and training opportunities for those affected by Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS).
The MS Society – Offers telephone advice and support about Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The helpline is 0808 800 8000
Alzheimer’s Society – Offers advice and support, and online and community groups for people experiencing Alzheimers and their loved ones.
Arthritis action – Offers personalised support, resources and information. Can support with clinical appointments and local community groups.
Macmillian Cancer Support – Offers Advice and emotional support, financial help, free training courses and support groups.
Diabetes UK - Offers telephone support, local support groups, and online training.
British Heart Foundation – Offers information and support, and online community groups for those experiencing heart disease.
British Lung Foundation - Offers information and support, and online community groups for those experiencing lung disease.
Stroke Association – Offers information and support, and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Royal National Institute of Blind People – Offers emotional Support; advice; living with Sight Loss courses; training and social groups; and access to audiobooks for free
