Camden's tenure policy explains that we will not make use of fixed term tenancies but will continue to use secure (or lifetime) tenancies. 

The only exception would be in rare circumstances where a fixed term tenancy might be of benefit to a prospective tenant and is agreed with them.  Subject to keeping to conditions of their tenancy they may then be issued with a secure tenancy afterwards.

The only other exception, since the tenure policy was agreed, was the introduction of Camden Living tenancies which are assured shorthold tenancies for three years.
