High-risk panels and safeguarding meetings

Camden’s Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel (DAPP)

The DAPP is a joint endeavour between Camden Council and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) with involvement of statutory and voluntary sector organisations. It is a multi-agency forum for professionals to share and discuss information relevant to the effective case-management of high-risk domestic abuse Perpetrators.

The following criteria set out when a referral to the DAPP should be made:

  • Where a person aged 16+ is alleged to have perpetrated high-risk domestic abuse against a partner, ex-partner, or family member regardless of gender or sexuality

and

  • Where there is a need for Perpetrator focused information sharing and multi-agency case management

Officers are expected to attend if a referral is made or for a relevant case discussion.
