Reporting an adult safeguarding issue

• If you suspect an adult is at risk of abuse or neglect this should be reported by completing the safeguarding adults referral form at the top right hand side of this page.
• If a criminal act may have been committed this should be reported to the police on 101 or 999 if this is an emergency.
• Let your manager know.
• Camden follows the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding policy and procedures. 
• Once you have referred a case there will be an enquiry to establish whether and what action needs to be taken to stop the abuse or neglect.  You should get a response back after outcomes have been agreed and a report completed.
