Resident safety

A key part of our purpose is that we help residents have a safe home and environment. This includes both in and outside their homes including communal parts and estates. A key conversation at the start of a tenancy we also do this by working alongside other colleagues, for example, in estates services or repairs.

Hoarding guidance

Purpose of the guidance.

To provide a clear, concise and easily accessible guide for Landlord Services staff.
To help in understanding and addressing issues of hoarding.
To help with the development of action plans to help residents manage their environment.
To give guidance on working in partnership with other professionals such as Adult Social Care (ASC) Mental health and other support services to address hoarding issues and promote the safety and wellbeing of residents.
To manage and minimise the risk caused by hoarding and inappropriate storage within our homes.
