Community Kitchen

Quaker Social Action has set up a free community kitchen in Islington for those who do not have the facilities or cooking space. 

 

What is offered

  • A free kitchen space with modern equipment and appliances
  • Access to ingredients - Quakers Social Action encourages and welcomes everyone to bring there own. 
  • Recipe and nutritional advice from a trained professional – including ideas for getting the most out of their ingredients.
  • A space to enjoy their meal at the end of the session

 

Who is the community kitchen for?

This community kitchen is not limited to people who are sofa surfing, homeless, living in a hostel, night shelter, B&B or living in conditions that affect their health or leave them at risk of violence or abuse at home, the community kitchen also welcome refugees and asylum seekers.
