Local advice services

Age UK Camden: free and confidential information and advice for older people, their families and carers.

Citizens Advice Camden: telephone advice and face to face drop in surgeries at their offices and at local GP surgeries.

Camden Community Law Centre: assists people living, working or studying in Camden with appeals against benefit decisions. They also provide advice and representation on the following areas: employment, housing, immigration and asylum.

Mary Ward Legal Centre: provides specialist legal advice on debt, employment, welfare benefits and housing. Drop in service and appointments available.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP): free debt advice service. Enter the postcode on their website to check if this service is available to the resident.

Bengali Workers’ Association: general advice drop in service every Friday from 10am-12pm, and booked appointments also available.

Hopscotch: benefit advice.

The Fritzrovia Advice Service provides assistant face to face,  by telephone and online and are able to help with welfare benefits, housing issues for both private and social tenants, fuel poverty and form filling.

London Irish Centre: provides accredited advice on a range of issues including housing, welfare benefits and Irish birth certificates, passport and pensions. 

Somali Cultural Centre: offers information, advice, advocacy and outreach services to the Somali-speaking community in Camden and surrounding areas.
