About Us

Floating Support – The service consists of support workers who work to prevent homelessness amongst vulnerable households, and to support people to move to and sustain independent accommodation

Camden have resettled approximately 120 households and 400 Afghan Refugees under the UK Government’s scheme. The Floating Support Service leads this resettlement and the caseworkers work with Camden colleagues to provide and signpost to the following support to our new residents:

  • Tenancy Sustainment
  • Welfare benefits advice
  • Employment training and education support
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) support
  • GP registration
  • School and nursery places
  • Local VCS partners

We only work directly with Refugees who are on the sponsored Resettlement programs that we directly accept to resettle in Camden.
