Essential repair transfers take place when residents have to move out of their homes, either temporarily or permanently, to allow us to carry out repairs.

Before sending the referral form:
If the resident wants a permanent transfer, this will be on an assessed bed need of property type and most likely on an estate.
The tenant can opt for a temporary transfer if they wish to move back into their original property once the repairs have been carried out. The process for the move would be the same as if for a permanent move, however, the resident is signed up on a temporary license.
