Food provision for vulnerable and shielding

Age UK Camden emergency food parcels has ended on Friday 26 June.

Please look into more sustainable longer term options available to people. The council will continue to provide food parcels for the most vulnerable ‘shielded’ residents.

Information on food shopping and other supplies can be found on the Camden Care Choices website. This includes information on community organisations offering food for vulnerable adults, supermarkets and deliveries of fresh food produce.

Council staff have contacted those on the shielded register to discuss their support needs, including food, hygiene products and any other needs. If there are any concerns about prescriptions or picking up medicine this can also be addressed during these telephone calls. To follow up on food deliveries people should telephone the Council Covid-19 helpline on 020 7974 4444 (option 9).
