Covid-19 crisis grants

• For residents of any tenure in financial hardship due to Covid-19, where they need help with pre-payment fuel bills and/or food. The awards do not cover rent, debts or replacement white goods or furniture (although exceptions may apply i.e. fire).
• Awards are usually a one off payment of approximately £50 to £100 to cover an emergency situations paid via BACS or paypoint (some exceptions may pay more).
• The welfare rights team and Peter Mullahy process these applications.  For council tenants there is also a check if we can help with any other issues and signpost or refer on where appropriate.
