Family Early Help
Review points are critical in the helping process. Although we have built in a TAF review every 3 months, its so important to review progress against the plan with the family much more often.
Checking in on how the plan is going each week, or choosing a review point together when you contract with a family (for example once a month on a set date), ensures the plan doesn't stay static or go stale.
Family life and circumstances change all the time, so goals and plans need to be dynamic and responsive, not set in stone. For example, the family might try something on their plan and it doesn't work for them, so part of our role is to think about why, and where necessary plan something different.
