Resilient Families : An Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive Practice

Resilient Families : An Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive Practice

Resilient Families is a way of working that helps our practice to be as anti-racist and anti-oppressive as it can be and should be.

The Resilient Families training reflects on how the tools, methods, ideas and approaches could help you practice in an anti-racist, anti-oppressive and culturally responsive way.

Every FSCF staff member commits to making sure they use the Resilient Families Practice Model to support making their daily practice culturally responsive, anti-racist and anti-oppressive - for children, for families, for networks, for partners, and for wider community and  society.

Although this image talks about mental health, it is just as relevant to family support - we dig deeper and challenge racism, oppression, injustice and inequity whenever we see it.
