Staff Wellbeing During COVID

Looking after each other

Staff Wellbeing During COVID

Here you will find information about how we can look after each other to stay safe and well, physically and emotionally during COVID.

Staff emotional and physical health matters more to us than anything else, so please do talk with your line manager if there is anything you feel you need or that would be helpful.

Update 14 January 2020

During the third lockdown, Camden has increased dependency leave again from 5 days to 10 days. Dependency leave is to help cover any exceptional circumstances where the care requirements of your dependent/s mean that it's not possible for you to work at all, or for some periods of time.

You can also use dependency leave flexibly – including taking part days if you're sharing caring responsibilities with your partner for example.

There is no need to use up your other leave entitlements – such as annual leave – before receiving paid dependency leave.

Find out more on essentials.

Update 6 October 2020

Dependency leave policy was altered during the height of lockdown. The policy reverted back to Camden's usual policy and procedure in September 2020.

You can find out more about different types of leave, including dependency leave, available to Camden staff here:
