Elfrida Families Together Parent Support Group
Elfrida Camden based in Kentish Town runs a Families Together project. This support is offered in group settings or more tailored one to one support for individual families. The group is for parents with children of any age and for any parent living in Camden. Elfrida accept self-referrals and referrals from external professionals.

Mosaic (Autism and Disabilities) Waiting List Parenting Support Group
The Mosaic Service have a support group for parents of children who are on the waiting list for ADHD or Autism diagnosis. This is only for those known to the MOSAIC Child Development Team with a child on the Mosaic MDT assessment waitlist. Contact Mosaic for more information [email protected]
CAMHS Waiting List Parent Support Group
Brandon Centre, in partnership with Mind in London, are delivering a pilot group parent support programme to support parents/carers of adolescents aged 11-16 who are on the treatment waiting list for CAMHS services.

Special Parents Forum (parents with children with SEN and Disabilities)
Camden Special Parents’ Forum is a growing network of over 250 parents and carers of 0-25 year olds with special education needs and disabilities.
The forum runs meetings and training workshops for parents to help them to access the information and skills they need to support their families. Anyone who is looking after a child or young person with special needs (who lives or goes to school in Camden) is welcome to join the Forum, either as a regular or occasional visitor.

Families in Focus Parents Forum
Run by our very own FIF, Parents Forum is a great way for parents to find peer support from other parents, share their strengths together, and have a space thats just for them. Sessions run once a month, contact Sajna Begum, Nathalie Bunney or Jess King (on Outlook)
Camden Dads (with children aged 0-5)

Young Parents Group

Single Parents Group
Gingerbread have a single parents friendship group in Finsbury Park. The groups are a chance for single parent families to get together, meet new people and share experiences. More information here Groups | Gingerbread
Camden Family Advisory Board (for parents or carers with lived experience of FGC or childrens services)
We are a citizen-led Family Advisory Board in Camden, established in 2014. All our members have lived experience with Family Group Conference or the children's service in Camden. The group meets regularly for monthly coffee morning and social activities, and provides platform for sharing and learning, participation, inclusion and the co-construction of services.

Support for Parents with Concerns about their Childs Drug or Alcohol Use
FWD have an online forum to support Camden parents and carers of young people up to the age of 25 years old with concerns around drugs and alcohol use. The forum offers a space to:
- access information and receive practical guidance on how to support their young person
offload and speak with other parents/carers facing similar challenges
find out more about the support we offer young people and to refer into our service

Perinatal Peer Support (121 volunteers)
Parents Matter is a programme run by Family Lives providing peer support during the perinatal years (pregnancy up to 2 years old). Parents are paired with a local volunteer who will listen to how you're feeling and can:
- visit you at home
- keep in touch by phone, text, or video call
- connect you with parents who have had similar experiences
- speak a range of different languages
