Family Early Help
For Camden Tenants
The quickest and easiest way to report damp and mould is by completing an online form which can be accessed here: camden.gov.uk/report-damp (this will bring up an online form).
Alternatively, residents can:
- Email [email protected] – we would encourage residents to attach photos and videos if they can.
- Speak to the Repairs Team on webchat, Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 6.00pm (excluding bank holidays), at gov.uk/housing-repairs
- Text 07360 277 909 at any time. The Repairs Team will get back to them Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm (excluding bank holidays).
- Telephone 020 7974 4444 (option 3), Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays). Outside of these hours, call 020 7974 4444 if they need to report an emergency repair.
Residents can report damp on webchat or by text in over 100 different languages, so we can encourage residents who don’t have English as their first language to use this if it makes the process simpler for them.
There is a leaflet for residents about mould and damp here and here is a link to Camden's webpage about damp and mould Housing repairs - Camden Council
Once the resident has reported damp, our Repairs Team will visit their home within 10 working days (excluding bank holidays) to assess the damp and mould, agree next steps and arrange for any repairs to be fixed.
