Health

This section contains information on a range of health-related topics including where and how to find GPs and dentists, prescriptions, childrens mental health, adult mental health, pregnancy, patient transport, support for families with long-term conditions or disabilities, free sanitary products and much more.

We teamed up with charity Tricky Period during COVID, and we now have 800 packs of free sanitary products available for women and girls who are finding it hard to afford these during COVID.

The packs are stored at the childrens centres and libraries listed below. Families can collect a pack themselves by dropping into the centre (the packs are held at reception so just ask the reception staff, no questions asked), or you or a colleague can deliver the packs to families if they cannot leave the house (e.g. if they are clinically extremely vulnerable or are self isolating).

Three Camden libraries are now also stocking free sanitary products (from 2 September 2020)
