Grants and Benefits to Help with Energy Bills
Citizens Advice have compiled a useful list of grants and benefits that could be used to help reduce or pay down energy bills. You can find more information here
Energy Companies
The major energy companies have agreed to provide relief for people unable to pay energy bills during COVID.

If a family cannot pay their energy bills, please contact their provider for assistance and to find out what is on offer.
Green Camden Helpline
Our Green Camden Helpline has an energy debt relief service where residents can receive advice on their energy debt and in some circumstances can get assistance with applying for trust fund grants. Residents can also receive a range of energy advice, including help accessing priority services, switching energy tariffs and social utility tariffs/discounts. The team can also check eligibility for an energy or water bill discount, energy efficiency grant and a Well and Warm home energy phone consultation.

Well and Warm Home Energy Advice Phone Consultation
Camden's Well and Warm service provides free home energy advice phone consultations for low-income households across Camden. This includes tailored advice and provision of free energy saving measures such as draught-proofing and low energy bulbs. For the resident to check if they qualify, they need to call our Green Camden Helpline on the number provided above.
Warm Homes Discount
The Green Camden Helpline is also able to help residents to check their eligibility for a £140 discount off their electricity bills through the Warm Home Discount, a scheme run by energy companies and the Government.
Groundwork London Fuel Vouchers (Green Doctors)
Fuel vouchers have been made available through Groundwork, funded the Energy Redress Fund. The vouchers are worth £30 each and are available to residents who have prepayment meters and are struggling to find money to top them up.
