Conflict or Violence in the Home

Conflict or Violence in the Home

This section contains information about support with domestic violence, harmful parental conflict, emergency accommodation and many more sources of advice and information for families experiencing violence or conflict

IMPORTANT: If you are at risk of injury or harm in your home, you can leave the house.  The government guidance is clear that you can do this and that the social distancing regulations do not apply if you need to leave the home to escape risk of injury or harm.

Stalking is fixated, obsessive, unwanted and repeated behaviour that makes you feel pestered and harassed. It includes behaviour that happens two or more times, directed at or towards you by another person, which causes you to feel alarmed or distressed or to fear violence might be used against you.

Social media and the internet are often used for stalking, and ‘cyber-stalking’ or online threats can be just as intimidating.
