Book a Nature Reserve Space

A number of Camden nature reserves have opened their space for families to use during COVID. The 1 hour slots are booked in advance and its one family at a time. 

The nature reserve spaces are primarily for families in temporary or overcrowded accommodation, or for families that include someone with SEND. 

You can also book a nature reserve space to have a face-to-face visit or a walk-and-talk with a family.

PACE Play Space (NW1, NW3, NW5 and NW6) 

Some of Camden's play providers a have opened their outdoor space for families to use for exercise. These are booked in advance, and its one family at a time.  

The play provider spaces are primarily for families in temporary accommodation and overcrowded accommodation. The play spaces are: 

  • Fairfield Play Centre, Mary Terrace NW1 7LR (Just off Camden High St, along the alley way opposite Argos) 
  • Camden Square, Murray Street, NW1 9RE (opposite Camden Irish Centre) 
  • Fortune Green Play Centre, Fortune Green Road, NW6 1DR (west Hampstead area, along from the old police station) 
  • Talacre Action Group, Wilkin St NW5 3AG (not Talacre Sports Centre! – the play centre is in a separate building behind the Sports Centre, close to Kentish Town West station) 
  • Three Acres Play Centre, 29-31 Parkhill Rd NW3 2YR 
  • Action for Children, 3 Cubitt St, WC1X 0LJ

Calthorpe Community Garden (WC1X) 

Calthorpe are doing a similar scheme to the PACE play providers. We have less information about this one, but suggest calling Calthorpe to book a space

NW5 Play Project
