Alternative Venues for Visits

This section will give you ideas for alternative venues for face-to-face visits if families would prefer to meet outside their home.

We'll keep updating this list as we get more information about venues that are open, including community centres, museums, libraries, places of worship, parks and playgrounds, farms and many more.

Calthorpe Community Garden (WC1)

Calthorpe are enabling families to use the garden in 1 hour slots. A beautiful contained space (with a veranda in case it rains!) . Contact details here (must book in advance)

Corams Fields (WC1)

The wide open spaces of Corams Fields are open now Wednesday to Sunday only) and the playgrounds are opening on 15 July, and they will be fully reopen 7 days a week from 27 July. Remember you can only go into Corams Field with a child so meet the family outside first! More information here

Warren Sports Pitch

Slightly left-field, but if you've got a big family to meet, and especially ones who love football, why not consider booking a space at Warren sports pitch which reopens on 22 July. The pitch will be open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday 12pm - 6pm. More info here
