For advice and information about new and existing benefits claims, the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) are contactable between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm.  

Phone calls to the DWP are free of charge.

DWP Disability Service Centre

Contact the Disability Service Centre for advice and information about a claim already made for the following:

PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE PAYMENT (PIP)

DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE (DLA) - if you were born after 8 April 1948

DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE (DLA) - if you were born on OR before 8 April 1948

ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCE

DWP Jobcentre Plus

Contact Jobcentre Plus for new and existing benefit claims, and changing or cancelling an appointment.

NEW BENEFIT CLAIMS, such as New Style Jobseeker's Allowance

EXISTING BENEFIT CLAIMS, such as Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance

UNIVERSAL CREDIT

Camden Adult Social Care's Welfare Rights Team

If you are helping someone with a benefits issue and they require further advice, consider making a referral to ASC's Welfare Rights team

For residents that are not eligible for support from Camden Adult Social Care's Welfare Rights Service, the below resources provide information about other services that can be signposted to.

Camden Advice Network are 12 organisations that provide free and independent advice to Camden residents. Camden's Cost Of Living Crisis Fund is available to residents experiencing severe financial hardship. To find out how the Fund can support a resident, contact any of the 12 organisations in the Network.
