Substance Misuse Service: Change Grow Live

Information about the new substance misuse support service in Camden, Change Grow Live.

Substance Misuse Service: Change Grow Live

From Monday 3rd April 2023 Change Grow Live Camden will continue to work across the borough and will be the single point of contact for any adult seeking support with their drug or alcohol use. People who use the service have been advised and will see no change in provision other than a change in provider and, for some people, the building they visit. Change Grow Live replaces Integrated Camden Drug Service.

Change Grow Live's new main service hub opens on Monday April 3rd 2023 in Camden Town and will replace a number of existing premises in Camden. This includes The Margarete Centre, Daleham Gardens, 184 Royal College Street and Early Mews which have all closed on Friday 31st March.

From Monday 3rd April 2023:

People who currently attend the Margarete Centre, Early Mews on Arlington Road, or 184 Royal College Street will be seen at the new Kings Terrace hub.

People who currently attend Daleham Gardens will be seen at our Kilburn hub.

People who are currently seen at their GP surgery or hostel will still be able to do so. Change Grow Live will run clinics at these locations.

People who use the service have been advised and will see no change in provision, other than a change of provider and the above location changes.

Change Grow Live intends to ensure that from April 2023 resourcing and delivery will not be compromised in any way. It will be very much business as usual for everyone. To help ensure this, their robust clinical network stands ready to assist with any local issues including continuity of prescriptions.

The primary goal during this change is to ensure as little disruption to services as possible to achieve a smooth transition. People receiving support from the service can expect the same level of treatment and care as they are normally used to.
