Information about Camden Mental Health Service and the practitioners that deliver the range of care and support that is available.

Mental Health Service

From 1 November 2024 and as part of a Section 75 agreement, Mental Health Services in Camden are provided in partnership with North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT). NLFT was previously two separate Mental Health Trusts working in partnership – Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust and Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.

For further information please visit the North London NHS Foundation Trust website.

All our Lead Practitioners, Team Managers and Service Managers in Mental Health act as leads in various areas of Social Care.  As Social Care Leads, they are a source of information and advice on a particular area for staff in Mental Health to call on when needed.  They are links with our colleagues in ASC to ensure that there are consistent pathways across both ASC and Mental Health, to aid communication and to contribute to any new developments and initiatives to ensure that Mental Health is considered, included and actively providing input.

As Social Care Leads, they hold no clinical responsibility for individual cases as part of their Lead role, but rather acts in the capacity of mentor, advisor and link.
